I first stepped behind the decks at the age of 13 after my older brother brought home a pair of Technics 1210 turntables. It was the golden era of vinyl’ long before laptops, controllers, and USB sticks became the norm. What began as a hobby quickly became an obsession, leading me to play bars and clubs across my hometown of Middlesbrough before earning residencies throughout the North East’s thriving underground scene and the world’s most iconic clubs, including Privilege (Ibiza) and Fabric (London)
As my passion for DJing grew, so did my curiosity for creating good quality, meaningful music. Armed with Cubase, a MIDI keyboard, and countless hours of trial and error, I taught myself the art of production’ building grooves, programming drums, and crafting tracks from the ground up. That dedication eventually led to releases on German giant techno label ‘Trapez‘, with one of my EPs receiving support from two of the genre’s most influential artists, Richie Hawtin and Ricardo Villalobos.
At the height of that momentum, I made the unexpected decision to walk away. I relocated to Seville, Spain, embraced a different way of life, and focused on building a future beyond the dance floor. Yet no matter how much time passed, techno never really left me’ It remained quietly in the background.
Eventually, the creative pull became impossible to ignore. Returning to the studio wasn’t about chasing the past’ it was about rediscovering the passion that first inspired me. I found myself reconnecting with the craft I once loved, but with a completely different mindset. Years of life experience had changed not only who I was as a person but also how I approached music.
Today, I produce without expectation or pressure, driven purely by creativity and a genuine love for the art form. I’m inspired by deeper grooves, hypnotic rhythms, and music that tells a story. The fire that first ignited all those years ago has returned!’ and the music I’m making now feels more authentic, personal, and honest than ever before.
